Procurement process open for the development of ATSTN National Training Centres

The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult has today opened the procurement process for establishing the network of National Training Centres for advanced therapies and vaccine manufacturing skills. Proposal submissions will be accepted until 25 November 2020.

The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult received £4.7m from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) through UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) to establish the Advanced Therapy Skills Training Network (ATSTN) to boost skills and training across cell and gene therapy and vaccine manufacturing by working in collaboration with industry.  The network of National Training Centres is a fundamental component of this initiative in addition its digital part. The network of National Training Centres will start with the expansion of existing training facilities to leverage current infrastructure and innovative technologies, in order to deliver focussed ATMP and vaccine training facilities across the UK and enhancing geographical access to specialist training.

If you would like to apply for funding to help deliver this national network, the specification document has now been published on the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult’s procurement platform, Wax Digital.

All suppliers who wish to submit a proposal need to register here and complete the required Due Diligence details, then email the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult’s Procurement Lead Tony Morris who will add you to the project in the Wax system.

We encourage you to do this as soon as possible, as the registration and Due Diligence process may take a few days to complete.

Suppliers need to submit their proposals before 25 November 2020.
